This was such a unique place. Channing thought of everything in setting up the perfect stay. I don’t think there was a single time in our 4-day getaway where we didn’t feel like our host had anticipated our needs. Being able to enjoy the waterfront was terrific. We hope to come back in warmer weather to try some kayaking. We enjoyed the General Store, Maurice, the Corner Bakery and the galleries in Onancock. We also traveled to Chincoteague and Cape Charles for super enjoyable days. Holly Cove was the perfect home base for exploring the area.
My husband and I had a fantastic weekend stay at Holly Cove. What an oasis this property is. The studio is small as clearly stated in the description, but it’s fresh, comfortable, cute and clean. The expansive waterfront property is beautiful to explore or simply sit at one of several outdoor seating nooks, some with fire features, and enjoy the views. The long pier was an irresistible spot for watching sunrise and sunset over Onancock Creek. Also a great spot for stargazing. The resident chickens and goats are adorable and social. If you don’t need a lot of indoor space to spread out, book the studio for a sweet waterfront stay on the Eastern Shore.
