American Heart Association (AHA) ▬ Most healthcare settings and schools require their employees/students to be BLS certified through the AHA.
American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) ▬ ASHI is the best CPR Instructor Trainer American Heart Association. Our CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and AED in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
Blended Learning: Individuals and/or businesses may opt for blended learning (ASHI only). Instruction will be provided via the internet at one’s own leisure. Once complete, a place and time will be agreed upon for the student(s) to demonstrate the hand-on skills.

Some “fly-by-night” companies offer CPR certification without requiring a hands-on component, however, all reputable companies will require such component as the American Heart Association (AHA), the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) or the American Red Cross will not issue a BLS or CPR Certificate that does not include a Hands-on Assessment.
With instructor-led courses, students will receive much more hands-on practice. The appeal of the blended learning is that since the students watch the videos online at their own pace, the in-person hands-on exam only takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour depending on the proficiency of the student. The instructor-led courses on the other hand take approximately 4 hours (6 hours if first aid is included).
