An artist at heart, but my day job required me to focus more on the analytical (toxicology research scientist for UW) so I tabled my creativity for 30 years. Now retired I have found my new passion sculpting stone.

I have an eye for selecting unusual rocks. Most of my stones sculptures are from rocks that were gathered from my backyard in Mill Creek WA or from my vacation home on Lopez Island WA.

I like to rough out each rock to see its natural colors and contours. I will rotate it and view all angles until I can see its final shape. The rock speaks to me. making each piece “One Of A Kind”.
