Paid & Organic Efforts for Hockey Equipment Retailer

Eight Oh Two led the paid and organic marketing efforts of a hockey equipment retailer. The team worked on restructuring paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads to enhance ROAS and organic rankings. Even though they work with many other clients, they are always incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we have. It always feels like we are a top priority for them, no matter how big or small the issue.

Overall Feedback:

Eight Oh Two was able to boost the client\'s SERP rankings for key terms and categories. More importantly, they increased the sales of the company and aggressively achieved ROAS targets. Eight Oh Two was recommended to us by an outside consultant who had worked with them in the past. We chose to work with them because of their track record in helping companies in situations like ours to successfully build and manage high-performing paid and organic strategies.

SEO, Web Audit, & Web Migration for Retail Company

Eight Oh Two provided several services such as staff augmentation, SEO solutions, and site revamping. Apart from that, the team also needed to audit and migrate the site\'s content without affecting the SEO. Not that I can think of.

Eight Oh Two was able to help the company trend on mobile search results. The team also eliminated about 80% stale content and successfully migrated the rest. The team was approachable, timely, and responsible. I found Ken and his team very easy to work with. They were personable and took on timely project management for their areas of responsibility while working seamlessly with project managers, developers, content contributors, and management at all levels of the organization.

Since Eight Oh Two joined the digital marketing project, they have been extremely helpful in the implementation of various techniques and reforms at the e-commerce company. The team is skilled, dependable, and driven in doing their tasks. They are responsible for managing these functions. They report out at set time intervals to show performance, ROI, changes and adaptations to the business environment, etc. So, they manage these functions and report out. This allows us to focus on other priorities and not have to worry about digital marketing.

Eight Oh Two\'s decade of partnership with the customer tells a lot about their professionalism and capabilities. Since they started the project, the client experienced rising sales every year. To be specific, over 20% of sales were added annually in the company\'s total revenue. Together, we grew year-over-year sales and profitability more than 20% across each of the years I was with the company. These were the performance goals we set out to accomplish, and we achieved them. I have little doubt that if we had set our goals higher, we would have been equally as successful.

Thanks to the efforts of the Eight Oh Two team, the company saw their rankings improve over time. They exceeded ROAS targets and scaled ad spend by 30% year over year. The team was also very good at meeting deadlines and was always quick to respond. This review was updated by the client on August 28, 2020. I worked directly with one of their in-house SEO writers to ensure that the product descriptions that we wrote internally were appropriately edited for search engine optimization. We would submit our copy and they would turn over their edits quickly and effectively.

The company is happy with the performance of the project as they were able to acquire a larger customer base despite runnung under challenging conditions. The team\'s assistance to the in-house team played a significant role in reaching revenue targets during the COVID-19 demand spike. If you are familiar with enterprise class paid search programs, on the surface they aren\'t difficult. In reality, they can be very challenging for a myriad of reasons. Eight Oh Two focuses on Google Shopping Network, and they delivered almost immediate results. The actual detail behind the delivery is what we hired them to do. They do a great job.

Eight Oh Two expertly delivered targeted results in paid ads and meticulously advertised seasonal items during peak season. All their efforts raised the company\'s overall profit margin. What stood out the most is their ability to explain complex terms and why certain strategies should be done. We previously did not have a digital marketing strategy and they held our hand as we learned about all the aspects. It was a broad scope of work that included a little of everything until we felt comfortable in narrowing down what was working best for our business.

Feedback on the team\'s performance regarding this project has been generally positive. The company was most impressed by the team\'s ability to increase page views and order conversions to further the goal of the project. Eight Oh Two has engaged in a variety of projects through CIMcloud. They have done on site, organic SEO work to optimize our clients product catalog and web page data for better ranking. They have designed, implemented, and managed paid ad campaigns for clients. Eight Oh Two has also implemented custom template designs for our clients helping their sites perform better on mobile devices. Eight Oh Two assists our product development team and product managers by auditing our platform and guiding us in development best practices for onsite SEO.

Eight Oh Two delivers amazing SEO initiatives that led to an increase in site traffic and session growth. The team is communicative and responsive, conducting weekly meetings to discuss strategy which secures ongoing engagement. We asked EightOhTwo to do a site audit to understand our site weaknesses either technical, best practice or content gaps. We also needed weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. The ask also included launch of new products, Google monitoring, Content calendar recommendation.

The numerous articles that were crafted by the team for different key product categories raised the trustworthiness of the company\'s site. Eight Oh Two also managed to increase the site rankings and splendidly improved customer engagement. The team is reliable, cooperative, and open-minded. The Eight Oh Two team first met with our principles and marketing team in a discovery session. Because Riverbend Home was expanding in several categories, the content project had several paths it could potentially take. Eight Oh Two came back with several recommendations on an approach based on our growth goals. Once the direction was established, Eight Oh Two provided an overall editorial calendar and outline of specific article pitches. We had a series of short input sessions on the first suite of articles as the copy team got to better know our business. Draft articles were then submitted for review. Eight Oh Two was able to quickly understand each category and our brand voice, and we eliminated the need for the input sessions about halfway through the engagement. Ultimately Eight Oh Two delivered 50 blog articles for our site across three key product categories.
