They got my book into the right spotlight

My book was featured on blogs and even mentioned in a local magazine. A bit more national-level outreach would have been even better.

Overall Feedback:

Publicity is tough to get, and I had no idea where to start. New York Publishing House connected me with book bloggers, arranged reviews, and even got me an interview with a local magazine. That exposure helped bring in new readers who I never could have reached on my own. It was exciting seeing my book mentioned outside of my own circles. While I wish there had been more nationwide coverage, I’m still really happy with the results. Their team knows how to get books noticed, and it made me feel like a real author.

The illustrations made my children’s book magical

The drawings captured the joy and imagination I wanted young readers to feel. More initial sketches would’ve helped me narrow down my vision quicker.

Overall Feedback:

Illustrations are everything in a children’s book, and I was blown away by what New York Publishing House delivered. The pictures were colorful, engaging, and exactly what I imagined my characters to be. Kids who’ve read the book get so excited pointing out little details, which makes me feel proud as an author. The illustrator added touches I hadn’t even thought of, and they worked perfectly. The only thing I’d change would be to see more sketches in the early stage, but overall, the final artwork made my story come alive in the best way possible.

A sharp eye for detail saved me from mistakes

They caught tiny errors I would have missed forever, even after multiple readings. The process took slightly longer than expected, but the accuracy was worth the wait.

Overall Feedback:

I thought my book was ready to go, but proofreading at New York Publishing House showed me how many little errors still slipped through. From punctuation to formatting inconsistencies, they picked up everything. It was honestly a relief because I would have been embarrassed if readers found those mistakes after publishing. They provided clear notes and corrections, so it didn’t feel overwhelming to review. Now, I feel confident that my book is clean and professional. If you think proofreading isn’t necessary, trust me, it makes a huge difference.

My book finally felt polished and professional

The editor was very detailed and explained every correction without making me feel lost. More face-to-face calls could help build an even stronger connection during the editing phase.

Overall Feedback:

Editing has always been the part of writing I dreaded most, but New York Publishing House made it easier than I expected. They didn’t just fix grammar mistakes—they helped with sentence flow, pacing, and even gave suggestions on how to improve dialogue. I felt supported rather than criticized, which gave me more confidence in my work. The editor was kind, thorough, and clearly experienced. After going through the edits, my manuscript read smoother, and I could finally imagine it being ready for readers. This service alone was worth the investment.

A Business Guide That Balances Expertise with Accessibility

The writer’s skill in transforming rigid, academic chapters into a lively, practical resource. By weaving in conversational anecdotes, relatable case studies, and bite-sized “quick-win” sections, they achieved the perfect blend of approachability and authority that beta readers now praise. The initial draft’s overly formal tone suggests a need to proactively integrate client storytelling before drafting to align style expectations earlier.

From Clichéd Noir to Cultural Genius: A Cover That Captivates

The designers pivoted brilliantly from generic noir tropes to a haunting, culturally resonant design—think a raven perched on fractured totem poles—tying Indigenous folklore into the mystery. Pre-orders spiked instantly, proving the power of symbolic storytelling. The initial concept relied on overused noir imagery. Incorporating cultural or symbolic research earlier in the creative process could help avoid clichés unless explicitly requested.

From Vague to Vibes—Tripled Sales with Niche Magic!

The team’s ability to pivot from generic "young reader" targeting to nailing the dark academia aesthetic. Revamped ads with candlelit libraries, forbidden magic quotes, and moody visuals—paired with thematic hashtags—tripled sales in a month and resonated deeply with my niche audience. The initial ads lacked niche specificity, requiring me to provide examples of dark academia aesthetics. Proactively researching genre-specific trends or requesting mood boards upfront could prevent a generic first draft.

From Generic Dragons to Dreamlike Worlds: A Cover That Tripled Pre-Orders

The designer translated my surreal landscape mood boards into a breathtaking, original cover featuring floating islands and ethereal atmosphere—far removed from clichéd dragon art. The result tripled pre-orders and finally gave my novel a visual identity that mirrors its unique story. The initial reliance on overused dragon imagery suggests a need for deeper creative exploration upfront. Requesting author references (like mood boards) earlier could prevent generic first drafts and align visions faster.

A Cover That Launched My Book into the Stars!

The designer’s willingness to pivot from generic dragon motifs to a bold, cosmic vision. By embracing my nebula-themed mood boards, they created a jaw-dropping starscape cover with glowing constellations—a design so striking it tripled pre-orders and perfectly aligned with my story’s otherworldly soul. The initial concept relied on overused fantasy tropes (dragons) that clashed with my unique cosmic theme. Proactively asking for genre-specific references or mood boards before drafting could help avoid mismatched ideas and streamline the creative process.

Ditching Dragons for Runes Tripled Pre-Orders!

The designer’s ability to pivot from generic dragon imagery to a unique Norse mythology-inspired theme. Incorporating glowing runes and a haunting shadowy forest created visuals readers called “spellbinding,” directly driving a surge in pre-orders. The initial draft relied on overused fantasy tropes. Asking for mood boards or visual inspiration earlier in the process could help avoid clichés and align the design with the author’s vision from the start.
