Above & Beyond Early Learning is a purpose-built early childhood centre located at Shop 8, 14 Heidke Street, Avoca (Bundaberg, QLD), sharing the same building as World Gym. The centre provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, operating Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM, and open 51 weeks a year (closed weekends and public holidays). With flexible session lengths and all-inclusive fees covering meals, nappies, and enrichment activities, Above & Beyond supports busy families with reliable and quality childcare. The learning philosophy is Reggio Emilia–inspired, underpinned by Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Educators view each child as capable, competent, and rich in potential. Programming is child-initiated and curiosity-driven, nurtured through creative, play-based learning across cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative domains. Age grouped studios—from Nursery to Kindergarten—are carefully designed with appropriate educator-to-child ratios to foster exploration and independence. Thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces enhance the child’s experience. Highlights include a Piazza dining space for shared meals, a creative Atelier studio, and a dedicated Library for storytelling and literacy. Outdoor environments are landscaped and age-appropriate, encouraging sensory discovery and physical play. All meals are prepared onsite by a qualified chef following Australia’s Nutrition Guidelines, blended with strong family and community partnerships to support holistic development and collaboration.
