Cancun Cancun International Airport, also known as Cancun Airport, is the second busiest airport in Mexico. It receives more than 30 million passengers a year and has between 400 and 600 daily operations, including arrivals and departures. During the high vacation season, Cancun Airport can have more than 650 flights per day. This airport is the gateway to several destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, such as Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Playa Paraíso, Akumal, Bacalar, and different points of interest throughout the Riviera Maya.
