Plumbing requires a high level of practical and theoretical skills. In France, many universities and vocational schools offer academic programmes leading to diplomas that allow you to work as a plumber. This profession is accessible from a CAP plumber which is obtained after the third year of secondary school. This is either a CAP in sanitary installations or a CAP in thermal installations. Both allow you to carry out relatively simple work.
