In reality, the Linksys velop is a mesh and complex setup, but it is pre-equipped with a WPS button to facilitate an easy setup. Aside from this method, there are two other processes the user can follow-web-based and WiFi app-based. Example: Suppose you fail to conduct the setup using those processes, simply try it without the web portal or without a Linksys velop setup app. But keep in mind to check if your existing modem supports WPS functionality and if WPS is working in your setup before proceeding. If it is compatible, then proceed with taking your velop and modem for the set-up.
