Overview

Marketing has mostly been an outbound activity. A company has a product or service to sell and they push that message out to consumers. Whether it is an advertisement placed on television, in a newspaper or magazine, or on a billboard on the side of the highway, the hope is that the right consumer sees the message and responds to it.
