Quick Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Account Managers to manage and organize the completion of key client projects. Projects include website updates, digital marketing efforts and more. This rewarding position allows you to interact with clients, build relationships and show our internal team that you’re a major contributor to our overall success.

What does an Account Manager do?

As an account manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will manage multiple client accounts and SEO setups at once, while keeping track of client initiatives, to-dos, tasks, and communication. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. You’re one of the major keys to a client\'s success and satisfaction.

This account manager position requires a solid understanding of search engine optimization best practices and strategies and an ability to explain these strategies to clients. Account managers should have a background in business skills, management and budgeting. Most importantly you should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Being a team player and having a problem-solving aptitude is a must!

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team to understand all project scopes and objectives
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and milestones
Coordinate and task internal resources
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements

Great educational background, preferably in the fields of business, marketing, computer science or web design
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the marketing and / or technology sector
Solid technical background with an understanding of or hands-on experience with search engine optimization
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Google Suites office tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
